Weather and Climate
Days are typically warm with crystal clear blue skies and the evenings cool with spectacular outback sunsets fading into brilliant starry nights where the Southern Cross and the Milky Way light the sky.
The dress code is relaxed; light casual clothing is recommended with suitable footwear for bushwalking with a warm top for the evenings, which can be particularly cool in winter. Hats, sunglasses and sunscreen are essential protection from the sun. Green Season is December to March. April to November are the cooler months, with warm days but cooler nights. Crystalbrook is in a remote location and has no mobile phone reception however we do a have a landline and limited satellite Internet. Power is generated by hydro and solar and is supplemented in peak times with a generator to supply a 240v system. Please note that all excursions are subject to availability and to weather and operational considerations.
